‘This is our livelihood’: Farmers frightened after ODOT study for a possible new highway

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The idea of a new possible highway near US-23 and I-71 is leaving farmers and community members restless and worried for their livelihoods.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is studying a highway connector between US-23 and I-71 that would run between parts of Morrow, Delaware, and Marion counties.

The idea is shaking up people that live nearby roughly 18 miles of generational farmland…
