PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Sunday has given a much-needed break from the rain, but this reprieve will be brief, as more showers and storms are forecasted heading into the work week.
Sunday night will stay dry, but it will be humid and warm with temperatures only getting down to the low 70s. Monday morning should remain quiet, but as we get to the afternoon we will start seeing showers and storms developing. The Mid-Ohio Valley is under a slight risk for severe storms Monday night, with damaging winds and flooding being the main risk. While large hail and possibly a tornado cannot be ruled out, the risk is lower.
The same pattern of storms and possible flooding will continue through both Tuesday and Wednesday as waves of storms pass through Ohio and West Virginia.
