COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Three missing children were recovered and are now safe after U.S. Marshals located them during operations in central Ohio this week, authorities said.
The U.S. Marshals Service Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, known as SOFAST, said it recovered the children and arrested a wanted fugitive on Thursday.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Cristalinn Rood was wanted for a probation violation stemming from previous firearms- and drug-related charges. During Rood’s arrest at a home in the 900 block of Hibbs Road in Lockbourne, officers found a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing.
