Thousands of power outages reported in central Ohio amid Sunday storms

Thousands of central Ohio residents are without power after severe storms moved through the area Sunday.

As of 1:39 p.m. Sunday, AEP Ohio is reporting that more than 10,000 customers are without power.

According to the power outage map, Franklin County is seeing the majority of outages, with 6,199. Perry County has the second most with 1,851. Overnight storms dropped four inches of rain across Perry County, causing significant flooding and 50 water rescues…
