Gahanna businesses, city crews clean up after widespread flooding

GAHANNA, Ohio (WSYX) — Cleanup efforts continued across Gahanna Friday after widespread flooding sent water rushing through roads, businesses and public spaces.

The city saw about 6 inches of rain in less than 24 hours, according to the City of Gahanna. At Gatsby’s Bar & Grille, runoff from Hamilton Road combined with an overflowing Rocky Fork Creek, sending floodwaters through the restaurant.
