COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A central Ohio doctor is one of the first in the country to be doing a new-to-the-United-States procedure that treats thumb arthritis, a condition that affects millions.
Julia Brown is one of the people who has thumb carpometacarpal arthritis, the type of arthritis treated by this surgery. As a former medical assistant, she used her hands and thumbs a lot. Now as an author and caretaker, she still does.
