Columbus and Central Ohio Weather
COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Overnight and early morning freezing rain is expected across central Ohio which will put several counties under a snow emergency during a winter weather advisory into Tuesday afternoon.
Light freezing drizzle started after midnight in the northwestern part of the viewing area. Precipitation rates will increase overnight to freezing rain by 5 a.m. and become more widespread across central Ohio. The best chance of freezing rain will be from I-71 and north and west, with lesser chances south and east due to slightly warmer air temps.
