A new restaurant has opened in Columbus, Ohio

A popular local restaurant known for its sandwiches has opened a second location in Columbus.

On January 27, Wario’s Beef & Pork celebrated the grand opening of its new restaurant in Columbus at 4219 N High St, according to this social media post from the restaurant. This is Wario’s second location; the popular sandwich shop opened its first location downtown at 111 W Nationwide Blvd.

The new Clintonville location’s menu includes sandwiches like the Steak (which comes with 8 ounces of shaved ribeye, house whiz, and grilled onions), the Cold Cut (which comes with rosemary ham, soppressata, hot coppa, picante provolone, house giardiniera, Wario sauce, tomato butter, shaved lettuce, and onions), and chicken a la vodka, which comes with crispy chicken, house vodka sauce, pesto, burrata, crispy pepperoni, and parmesan. If you want a meatless option, check out the vegetarian sandwich, which comes with house-made falafel, pickled onion, cucumber, greens, tomato butter, and Wario sauce.

Aside from sandwiches, the restaurant offers the house spuds (which are crispy onion smashed potatoes with herbs, parmesan, and Wario sauce) and the Wario spuds, which are the house spuds loaded with shaved ribeye, whiz, roasted garlic, Wario sauce, and long hots. You can also get a Caesar salad, a pasta salad (which is made with noodles, picante provolone, soppressata, spicy coppa, giardiniera, cucumber, pickled red onion, and house dressing), and the Dirt Cup, which is a dessert with dark chocolate pudding, cookie bits, sesame crunch, and gummy worms.
