A draft of a new community plan for the Eastland area was presented to residents, business owners and neighborhood leaders earlier this month. Ideas outlined in the plan range from a redevelopment strategy for the former mall site itself, to a new Bus Rapid Transit line that would run along Hamilton Road and connect up to other lines planned as part of the LinkUS initiative.
