COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One man is in custody after allegations of rape involving a teenager with disabilities.
According to court documents, the victim was brought to a child advocacy center on Jan. 16 and underwent a forensic interview for sexual abuse. Police said that Branden Vance was in the south Columbus home and entered the victim’s bedroom.

The victim reported that on Sept. 17, Vance touched them without consent before being raped.
Police said that the victim was unable to assess the situation and resist the assault due to their developmental delays and that Vance had direct knowledge of the victim’s disabilities…
