POWELL, Ohio (WCMH) – Reports of cars crashing into buildings have been rampantaroundColumbus for the last few years. So, for something new, how about a deer crashing into a school?
That’s what happened Friday morning at Olentangy Liberty High School. During the school day, a deer ran onto campus, crossed near the main entrance and smashed through a classroom window during instruction time.
Footage from the Olentangy school district showed people watching outside as the deer crossed in front of them, and security footage from the inside showed students quickly evacuating the classroom, followed by a school resource officer securing it.

Responding to the incident were the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Delaware Public Health. The sheriff’s office said deputies were sent to the school shortly before 9:30 a.m. and were on scene for about two hours…
