COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) — A former Ohio day care worker was sentenced to eight to 12 years in prison after she abused children in her care, reports WSYX.
Katelyn Strohacker was convicted of abusing eight toddlers last summer while working at Over the Rainbow Children’s Center in Pataskala. According to court documents, surveillance footage from the day care showed Strohacker shoving, yanking and restraining toddlers with painter’s tape.
In one incident, Strohacker intentionally shut a cabinet door on a 2-year-old’s finger. In another, she taped up a child and left them face down under a blanket for almost an hour. She initially pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but a judge ruled she was competent to stand trial…
