Dublin apartment complex residents offer support for 13 families impacted by fire

DUBLIN, Ohio — The three-alarm fire that tore through part of an apartment complex in Dublin on Sunday afternoon has been ruled accidental, according to Washington Township Fire Chief John Donahue. The chief said no one was injured, but the fire displaced 13 families and left behind significant damage.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 1:20 p.m., when witnesses say it started as a small fire and quickly intensified, fueled by strong winds.

“We saw a little bit of fire at the beginning,” said neighbor Saunak Gupta, who lives across from the most heavily damaged units. “There was a lot of wind and the fire spread pretty fast, then we saw smoke coming out of everywhere.”…
