CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A car hit an Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) crew last week, making it the 61st crew to be struck this year.
According to ODOT, the crash happened on Tuesday on SR 237 north at the I-480 east ramp.
“We consistently plead with people to give our workers room to keep them safe out on the roadway. But we still see things like this far too often! If keeping roadside workers safe isn’t your top priority, then at least pay attention, move over, and slow down for your own safety,” the post read.
The car had hit the impact attenuator.
Luckily, no ODOT workers were injured…
