COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus firefighters are urging residents to take simple steps to prevent deadly house fires, saying many of this year’s fatal blazes could have been avoided.
Lt. Nicholas Davis said the city has seen nine fatal fires so far this year. “These have been preventable causes,” he said.
