COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Former Columbus Blue Jackets radio and TV color commentator Bill Davidge has died. He was 72 years old.
Davidge was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2014, but his official cause of death is not yet known.
Davidge was an employee of the Jackets from their first days in business, serving as a scout for the franchise. He soon became the radio color announcer and then moved to the TV side in 2009. He retired from the franchise in 2019. See the latest headlines from NBC4 in the video player above.…
