Wrongful death lawsuit filed against driver in Delware County crash that killed family of three

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The truck driver charged with killing a family of three last month in Delaware County is now facing a civil lawsuit.

The estate of the Soposki family is suing Modou Fall Ngom in Delaware County Common Pleas Court for wrongful death, according to court documents filed on May 21.

In the lawsuit, the survivors of the Soposki family accuse Ngom of negligence in causing the April 11 crash along Interstate 71 near U.S. 36/State Route 37 when Ngom’s tractor-trailer truck rear-ended the Soposkis’ 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.
