Deputies responding to a report of a woman screaming in Riverside County fatally shot a man they say charged at them with a hammer early Monday morning.
The call for help came in around 4:20 a.m. in the 6000 block of Collins Street, according to a news release from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station.
