Several residents were transported to the hospital earlier this month after a search warrant was served at a care facility in Hemet in connection with an elder abuse investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday.
The investigation began in 2025 when the Hemet Sheriff’s Station was contacted by an ombudsman representative with the California Department of Aging, according to the sheriff’s office.
