After a decade of championing improvements to the San Clemente Pier, the nonprofit organization known as PierPride officially unveiled a new name during its annual launch party cruise on June 19.
Surrounded by supporters, elected officials and community members aboard a Dana Wharf Sportfishing vessel, PierPride announced it will now operate as the San Clemente Pier Conservancy, a change leaders say reflects the organization’s long-term commitment to preserving and enhancing one of San Clemente’s most iconic landmarks.
