RIVERSIDE, CA – On June 8, 2026, the Riverside Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team received a report regarding a vandalism incident that occurred approximately one week prior near Mission Inn Avenue and University Avenue. An unidentified male subject was reported to have spray-painted graffiti on several properties in the area.
POP officers initiated an investigation and identified a suspect using surveillance footage and reports submitted via the city’s 3-1-1 service. The investigation indicated that the suspect had vandalized multiple downtown properties over several weeks, causing more than $1,000 in damage to windows, walls, and street signs.
