The city of Banning recently issued a press release regarding the Riverside County civil grand jury report dated June 24. The grand jury report relates to past Banning management issues that the current City Council and its new administrative leadership have been actively working to correct.
“We acknowledge and thank the civil grand jury for its extensive interest and work in reviewing past city activities,” said the report. “We also appreciate the Grand Jury’s recommendations for going forward. We will show the appropriate level of respect for the Grand Jury’s hard work by providing a detailed response to the Grand Jury’s Findings and Recommendations within the prescribed 60-day timeline.
