March Field Air Museum to Mark 9/11’s 25th Anniversary With Bell-Tolling Ceremony

March Field Air Museum will hold a public remembrance ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the museum’s Heritage Garden.

The event brings together dignitaries, veterans and first responders for a morning of remarks, music and silence, offering Riverside residents a chance to reflect on an attack that killed nearly 3,000 people and reshaped American life.

A Joint Honor Guard made up of members from Cal Fire (the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection), the City of Riverside and the City of Corona will present the colors to open the ceremony. Melanie Pedro will sing the national anthem, and the museum’s Preservation Board will lead the Pledge of Allegiance…
