Students and families in Orange County came together this weekend to honor the life of a 22-year-old local woman killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, continuing a tradition aimed at ensuring her story lives on with a generation born years after her death.
The second annual Lisa Frost Memorial Heroes Walk was held in Rancho Santa Margarita in memory of Frost, who was aboard United Airlines Flight 175 when it was hijacked and flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
Frost grew up in Orange County and attended St. John’s Episcopal School in Rancho Santa Margarita before eventually graduating as valedictorian of her class at Boston University.
