Stockdale Capital Partners, together with funds managed by Hamilton Lane, has acquired The Shoppes at Chino Hills, a 378,140-sq.-ft. open-air lifestyle center in the Southern California community of Chino Hills in San Bernardino County, 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
The center, according to Stockdale, is a dominant retail destination in one of the fastest-growing trade areas in the Inland Empire and functions as a community gathering place in the region with seasonal events, a central promenade, farmers markets and family-oriented programming.
“We view Chino Hills as one of the most compelling retail markets in Southern California,” said Jeff Bhathal, who along with partner Bastian Peters, heads Stockdale’s retail platform. “Supported by exceptional demographics and the rapid growth occurring throughout Chino Hills, we see a significant opportunity to attract nationally recognized retailers, restaurants, and experiential concepts that are currently underrepresented in the market.”…
