MOAB, UT — Newly released body camera video from Moab police shows a speeding stop turning into an arrest in a deadly California hit-and-run case. Officers say they pulled over a semi-truck driver in eastern Utah after clocking him 20 miles over the limit on U.S. 191 near 500 West.
During the stop, police ran the driver’s information and found an outstanding warrant from California. The video shows officers handcuffing the driver, later identified as 30-year-old Chamkaur Singh, and telling him the warrant matched his identity. Police then contacted authorities in California to confirm the warrant before taking him into custody without incident.
