PHOTOS: LDS Church provides updates on Yorba Linda and Buenos Aires temples

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be beginning public tours for its Yorba Linda California Temple and has released new interior photos of the temple. They also released a new rendering for a temple in Argentina.

According to the church, it will be holding public tours for the Yorba Linda California Temple from April 30 to May 23, excluding Sundays. Invited guests and journalists will have had previous access to tour the Temple.

A dedication ceremony for the temple will be held on June 7, 2026, at 10 a.m., after which point only qualified Church members will be able to enter the temple.

The Church says almost 730,000 members live in California and the Yorba Linda California Temple will be the ninth temple built in the state. Additionally, three other temples in California have been announced or under construction, in Bakersfield, Modesto, and Sunnyvale.
