A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck roughly 4 miles southwest of Redlands near the border of Riverside and San Bernardino counties Friday evening.
The earthquake is the third sizable quake to hit the Inland Empire this week. A 3.3-magnitude quake hit the area earlier today. A 3.1-magnitude quake also shook San Bernardino County Wednesday morning.
The latest earthquake struck at 6:40 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The earthquake occurred roughly 2 miles beneath the Earth’s surface.
