Four Colombian nationals were arrested for their alleged roles in an organized residential burglary crew that targeted homes across Southern California.
The suspects, all South American citizens, were identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as:
- Akssel Cadena-Diaz, 29, of Colombia
- Jesus Velez-Hernandez, 35, of Colombia
- Sergio Paez-Cuervo, 38, of Colombia
- Javier Pulido-Ramirez, 41, of Colombia
The investigation began on April 22 following a residential burglary in the San Antonio Heights area of Upland.
The crew had reportedly used a variety of technology to carry out the burglaries including WiFi and signal jamming devices, camouflaged wireless cameras, fake license plates and other tools designed to disable residential security systems and monitor homes.
