As the school year came to an end in Sinton ISD in May, so too did the teaching careers of four educators at Welder Elementary School.
On May 20, Sinton ISD announced and celebrated the retirement of four of its staff members. The district said Shana Austin, Veronica Casanova, Carolyn Gray, and Terry Rodriguez are concluding their teaching careers.
According to Sinton ISD, the four educators represented nearly 140 years of service to the students, faculty, and staff of Sinton ISD and its community upon their retirement following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year.
