Grant Middle School informed parents that campus administration and the Corpus Christi ISD Police Department responded to a student bringing a 3D-printed “toy” gun to school on March 26.
Corpus Christi Independent School District Police Chief Kirby Warnke described the incident as involving a “toy,” clarifying that it was a 3D-printed airsoft gun. The email to parents said that campus administration began investigating after being informed that a student might have had a 3D-printed handgun.
