Corpus Christi school issues parent alert after criminal incident near campus

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi elementary school is asking parents to closely supervise students after dismissal following a recent incident near campus.

Calk Wilson Elementary School sent a letter to families on Tuesday after police said a man killed a cat near the school shortly after dismissal.
