Far-field study finds Inner Harbor desal plant would not harm bays

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A new environmental study presented to an advisory committee made up of 20 community members suggests the city’s proposed Inner Harbor desalination plant would not significantly harm nearby bay systems.

The findings come just before a major June 2 city council vote that will determine whether the project moves forward or not.
