More than 10,000 without power across the Coastal Bend

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — More than 10,000 outages reported as storms pass through the Coastal Bend Saturday afternoon.

According to AEP Texas’s outage map, the largest number of outages was reported in Nueces County, where 7,649 customers were without power, with an estimated restoration time of 5:30 p.m.

Below is an outage breakdown as of 1:26 p.m. according to AEP:

  • Nueces County — 7,649 outages | Estimated restoration: 5:30 p.m.
  • Bee County — 189 outages | Estimated restoration: 4:30 p.m.
  • Refugio County — 736 outages | Estimated restoration: 4:30 p.m.
  • San Patricio County — 1,682 outages | Estimated restoration: 4:30 p.m.
  • Aransas County — 249 outages | Estimated restoration: 4:30 p.m.
  • Jim Wells County — 91 outages | Estimated restoration: 5 p.m.
  • Live Oak County — 10 outages | Estimated restoration: 4 p.m.
