ROSWELL, Ga. — Local residents Caden Steele and Makenzie Pilgrim were recently selected as the 2026 recipients of a surprise wedding giveaway valued at $40,000 by the Weddings to Warriors community initiative.
Organizer Brandy Yungel said she has always had a special place in her heart for service members. Her Weddings to Warriors initiative came out of that love and is funded by 16 local businesses.
“Weddings to Warriors was created as a way for our local wedding community to come together and give back in a meaningful way,” Yungel said. “We wanted to honor one deserving military couple by giving them the wedding of their dreams, something they may never have been able to experience otherwise.”…
