Kelley Edwards, a captain with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, has been named the next chief of police for the Flowery Branch Police Department.
Edwards will take over after current Chief Christopher Hulsey retires Sept. 30. Hulsey has served as chief since March 2022 and announced his retirement in September, two months before what would have been his 20th year with the department.
