HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A 20-year-old Gainesville man faces misdemeanor charges in a head-on crash that killed his passenger and injured both drivers on Lula Road Oct. 15, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Following his release from the hospital, Jesse Jacob Martinez was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, failure to maintain lane and a tire requirements violation for driving with slick tires.
Martinez was booked into the Hall County Jail the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 21. He posted a $16,960 bond and was released later that evening.
