Quiet and dry while trouble brews in the tropics

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – An extended dry period continues as interest turns to the tropics. National Hurricane Center has outlined an area between Cuba and the Yucatan Peninsula for possible development by the middle of next week. There’s a 40% (medium) chance of a tropical depression or storm developing. It’s too early to establish potential track, strength or impacts. Watch for updates from the First Alert Weather Team.
