Gwinnett mails out annual property assessment notices

Gwinnett County homeowners and commercial property owners can now find out what their property is worth for tax purposes.

Gwinnett County announced 311,000 annual Notices of Assessment were put in the mail on Friday. The Board of Assessors sent the notices, which will detail property values as of Jan. 1 of this year, to residential and commercial property owners.

The notices are not a tax bill, but they will give property owners an idea of what they will owe in taxes this fall.
