Recently, the Developer, Big Canoe Company, LLC, cut a new access road from Wilderness Parkway near McDaniel Meadows to the undeveloped portion of the Waterford property.
As discussed at the recent public board meeting, the Big Canoe POA filed a declaratory judgment action on May 13, 2026, in Pickens County Superior Court against Big Canoe Holdings Group, LLC and Big Canoe Company, LLC regarding this undeveloped Waterford property.
By way of background, Big Canoe Holdings Group acquired approximately 168 acres of undeveloped property next to Waterford and Big Canoe in April 2025.
