Loop Dallas could begin work on final pieces of 50-mile loop next year

The Loop Dallas aims to begin construction on its most technically challenging remaining trails late next year.

The Trinity Forest Spine Trail, the final projects in larger Loop Dallas masterplan connecting 39 existing trails with 11 new ones, has been the most difficult to complete. The effort has involved partnering with property owners like Oncor and building a 12-foot concrete bridge over an active Union Pacific railroad to create a connection to Parkdale Lake.
