A massive multi-agency law enforcement operation targeting online child exploitation has resulted in 276 arrests and the rescue of 89 children, according to federal and local authorities.
The operation, known as “Soteria Shield 2026,” was conducted throughout March and April 2026 and brought together 91 law enforcement agencies and 197 personnel from across Texas in a coordinated effort to identify offenders exploiting children online and bring them to justice.
