Dallas considers $1.4 million settlement in suit alleging officials lured a Home Depot away from Navarro County

DALLAS — Dallas officials are considering a $1.4 million settlement over claims that the city lured a Home Depot warehouse away from Corsicana with “substantial economic incentives.”

The city of Corsicana, Navarro County and Navarro College filed the suit in 2013, alleging Dallas officials offered Home Depot USA Inc. economic incentives that led it to open up shop in the city.
