Dallas police have kicked off a citywide fugitive sweep dubbed Operation Uptown Downtown, teaming up with the U.S. Marshals to hunt down 10 of the area’s most-wanted suspects. Crime Stoppers is putting up a $1,500 reward for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest, and officials are making one thing very clear: call it in, do not play hero.

Among those named are Antonio Alexander, accused in a fatal shooting; Brian Plemons, wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery case, and April Quigley, also listed on an aggravated robbery allegation. Others on the rundown face accusations that include aggravated assault and robbery.

At least one person, Maquesta Martin, is listed as still at large with bond issues cited in the department’s summary. Police say they will keep updating the list as arrests come in.

The U.S. Marshals’ North Texas Fugitive Task Force is again riding shotgun with Dallas officers, adding federal tracking tools and personnel to the local operation. A recent U.S. Marshals Service release highlighted an earlier joint sweep that led to more than 60 arrests.
On the local side, a Dallas Police Department report on “Operation We Got You” documented more than 160 arrests in April. Together, these kinds of multi‑agency crackdowns have been credited with clearing dozens of warrants and disrupting networks tied to violent robbery and assault…
