WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A man accused of stabbing his two nephews in Burkburnett was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty Friday in Wichita County’s 78th District Court, while a Dallas man pleaded guilty in a separate financial abuse case in the 30th District Court.
Aaron Jedidiah Bueno pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for stabbing his two nephews on Sycamore Drive in Burkburnett last November.
According to one of the victims, he said was driving when he heard commotion in the back of the vehicle. He turned around and saw Bueno stabbing the other victim. When the driver attempted to intervene, he was also stabbed by Bueno.
78th District Court Judge Meredith Kennedy sentenced Bueno to 14 years in prison on both counts. The sentences will run concurrently.
In a separate case in the 30th District Court, Shubham Sanjay Adane of Dallas pleaded guilty to a third-degree felony charge of financial abuse of the elderly…
