Flexential is carving out 110 acres in Kaufman County for what it says will become its largest North Texas data center campus, putting a major new piece of digital infrastructure east of Dallas. The project arrives as developers race to find land, power and fiber in one of the country’s tightest data center markets.
The acquisition was first reported by CoStar, which identified Flexential as the buyer and Kaufman County as the site of the planned hub. The development is planned for Talty, southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and will become Flexential’s fourth Dallas-area facility.
A Three-Building, 108-Megawatt Campus
In a Flexential release, the company said the first phase will include 375,000 square feet and 36 megawatts of capacity for wholesale and multi-tenant customers. Site work is expected to begin in early 2027, with the first customers targeted for late 2028.
The full 110-acre campus could eventually hold three 36-megawatt buildings, bringing the total planned capacity to 108 megawatts. Flexential’s existing Dallas facilities are in downtown Dallas, Plano and Richardson, making the Kaufman County project a sizable expansion rather than a replacement for its current local footprint…
