Review of Myopia Management Announces Speakers and CE Courses for Its Full-Day Myopia Management Live Event in Irving, Texas

IRVING, Texas—Review of Myopia Management (RMM) has announced a live, full-day event on August 30, 2026, at the OMNI Las Colinas Hotel, Irving, Texas, designed to help eyecare professionals implement or strengthen their myopia management programs. The event will combine an immersive educational session, titled Building Your Myopia “A-Game,” with three hours of COPE continuing education (CE). RMM medical co-editors, Ashley Tucker, OD, FAAO, FSLS, ABO diplomate, and Kevin Chan, OD, MS, FAAO, IACMM, will lead a practical, hands-on educational session aimed at helping attendees immediately implement or amplify their myopia management programs.

Dr. Chan will present The Dose Effect: Contemporary Treatment Considerations and Strategies of Atropine Use. This session will outline the diverse applications of atropine in pediatric myopia care, delving into clinical nuances such as pharmacological interactions. He will also cover evidence-based, risk-driven, and season-dependent strategies to help clinicians make better-informed decisions.

Dr. Tucker’s session, Combination Therapy in Myopia Management: Why One Intervention May Not Be Enough, will explore the evidence and clinical application of combination approaches. Attendees will review research, patient selection, and escalation strategies for combining optical, pharmacologic and lifestyle interventions.
