On April 17, 2026, at approximately 2:19 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Park Row Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined that a person was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue where they died. It was determined that the victim was a man who presented as female. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist with identifying the victim. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 054325-2026.
