Crews discovered him injured, according to the preliminary investigation notes, and he was later pronounced dead. According to the Dallas Police Department, the call was logged at about 12:22 a.m. A witness told investigators the man appeared to be in distress and believed he might have been hurt before Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived. The medical examiner will determine the cause
