FORT WORTH, Texas — More than 25,000 North Texans are in the dark Saturday night as the severe thunderstorm sweeping across the region has caused severe damage, including knocking down powerlines.
The storm brought wind gusts up to 60 mph and golf ball-sized hail. Locals have reported seeing scattered debris and powerlines blown down by the storm.
